I want a logo that is eye-catchy, creative, fine and good, unique, outstanding etc; this is what logo designers often heart from clients.

Creating a good logo requires a huge amount hard work, creativity, research  and being up to date with the latest trends in design. Logo is the face/identity of any business.  It’s what differentiates your business from the crowd of your competitor. Your brand logos should be able to communicate your brand story and values to your customers.

Below are five attributes of a good logo.

Simple.

Your brand logo to be simple, easily to be recognized in order to engage your audience.  Logos don’t need to complex/complicated; it should just be simple and straight forward.

Memorable.

Brand’s logo should memorable enough that a person who has only seen the logo once should still be able to recall it easily and be able to describe to someone else. This makes it easy for people to engage with your products & services easily.

Timeless.

Following trend is a good thing, but when it comes to logo design, you should forget about trend because “trend come and go”.  Logo needs to timeless and endure for some period of time. You don’t want to be redesigning your logo every year. Logo need to convey your business mission, vision and values.

Versatile.

A good logo should be versatile in different sizes, across all platform both website, printing and mobile applications. A good logo has to work well on the website, on letterhead, business card, billboard, promotional ideas, ads etc.

Appropriate.

A logo needs to be appropriate to your brand. Your logo should fit your brand. A logo may not really show the business is all about, but should be able to convey the brand image to the audience. You don’t need to use a jpeg image of a caterpillar to show that the logo is for Construction Company.
